Guest guest
Global warming started 10,000 years ago with the end of the little ice age! This was CAUSED BY THE SUN. Then a tiny ice age happened in the dark ages-----it made them dark! It made those years COLD, about 900 to 1300 AD. People died from malnutrition as reported for the black death and other maladies------they were so poorly fed that in the northern Europe countries they died of everything and anything- generally it was called the " plague " . Sea currents changed, there were no Herring in the North Sea, more Scandinavians died of starvation. Then the earth warmed up quite a bit, and new food was discovered in the new World. This new food was a bonanza to the North Europeans. They cut down their trees and tried to Colonize-Conquer the World outside of Europe. The Sun never sets on the British flag. We had a teeny cold spell about 1850. Now we are warming---- Please give the Sun credit for this! Pollution is bad and needs to be cleaned up---------but the Sun is infinitely more powerful--than any politician! So think about that and give the Sun it's due. Many things I have read tend to indicate that the population explosion since the year 1901 has increased the number of people by three times. Population causes pollution-- " Mebbe you don't believe me- Mebbe you think a lie! Just go down to Darbytown and see the same as I " ---- Old Irish ditty. Go to a " Developing " country and take a look at the explosion of population. You can't blame Clinton or Bush for not controlling the Sun: Trying to blame them for what the Sun does is untenable! The EPA is a hole where money is poured into and magic is expected. Unfortunately ONLY LOCAL ACTION WILL DO ANY GOOD. Federal money is simply wasted on this problem! As it was on the Superfund---That money should have been given to the Cities instead of the Attorneys. Nuff Sed! Worse yet, it wants to bury any research findings that global warming may be a threat to human health or the environment. The latest example of this ostrichlike behavior involves some heavy-handed censorship of a draft report that is due out next week from the Environmental Protection Agency.
