I have rotten teeth with no protecting enamel, and have not noticed any degradation since using C solution daily. And I suspect I use a lot more C than most people. I suspect it also depends on the strength of the C solution. Alobar
Guest guest
Lisa I take about 10,000mg of C every day and have done for about 2-3 years. I think as long as you rinse your mouth out with a glass of water after taking it there should be no problem. Guest guest
Lisa. Yes, it could start to decalcify your tooth structure. One should not dissolve vit. C tablets in drinking water - or chew on the tablets. Guest guest
Hi Dr. Mittelman, Would that same caution apply to the buffered Vitamin C, calcium ascorbate? Thanks, Pamela Jerry Mittelman <jmittelman wrote: Lisa. Yes, it could start to decalcify your tooth structure. One should not dissolve vit. C tablets in drinking water - or chew on the tablets. Guest guest
Are you advising people not to drink ascorbic acid dissolved in water & sipped throughout the day? Guest guest
I don't believe so. Check the pH. Guest guest
I wouldn't do that. It still bathes the teeth in an acidic solution.
