Hello, Mikey, and welcome to Chinese Traditional Medicine. Have you ever come to the right place. I have CFIDS, and have had the candida problems. Do a search in the message base for CFIDS, CFS, and yeast. There is so much on here that you may have trouble sorting through it. What is your TCM diagnosis? What drugs are you on, and why are herbs contraindicated in this case? Digestive enzymes often will help with absorption problems. If there are Spleen Qi Deficiency problems, these also will need to be addressed. Many PWCs have particular problems with magnesium deficiency. Malic acid increases the absorbability of Mg. Aluminum will interfere with Mg absorption. Best to stay away from Al. Cookware, softdrink cans that are not lined, antiperspirants, etc. Mg deficiency can manifest as muscles feeling weak. Also as low level pain. Victoria

Hi Victoria. my tcm diagnosis is spleen deficiency. i have to admit when she told me that i didn't go back because i thought that couldn't have anything to do with my malabsorption but i see now that everything's connected. i'm going back for a spleen treatment on the beginning of april. i'm on diabetes meds, antidepressants and testosterone. when i wake up in the morning my eyes are bloodshot and i'm weak and confused until i take all of that stuff. my tcm doctor actually gave me herbs but i'm afraid to take them because i've been watching the news sometimes and seen people who have died from taking herbs with meds. thanks for the help.
