Any help for blepharitis? (eye condition)

I need to find an alternative for dealing with Blepharitis which is a

chronic eye condition that causes inflamation of the eyelid, red, dry,

burning eyes. I am hoping to find something herbal or topical. I

started taking extra EFA.

Try rubbing some lavender essential oil

and/or frankincense essential oil around the eye socket bones and down the

bridge of the nose.

My optometrist told me blepharitis is like

dandruff of the eyelashes. He suggested daily

cleansing with a Q tip and a mild solution of

baby shampoo. I did the Qtip, but not the

shampoo. A friend of mine used diluted witch

hazel tincture and it worked.
