Hello all. I am new to the natural health path but learning. I am a 47

year old woman with no prior allergy history. Last Christmas I had

highlights put in my hair at a salon. Bleach was applied in foils, and

then an all over toner. I had never had anything chemically done to my

hair before. I experienced an allergic reaction within 24 hours. I was

given cortizone and steroids to treat it.

Currently, I am on a cortisone shampoo called Clobex as well as a

steroid foam. If I do not use these products, my scalp remains red,

itchy and sensitive. In addition, my hair continues to break and thin.

The strands are thinner and weak, the texture of my hair changed. If

that isn't bad enough, my part is more noticeable.

I am wondering if those of you with experience in natural health

healing may have an idea for me. I want to get off the cortisones. I

want my old hair back too.

I have long hair and it is more beautifful than it has ever been - I use the Lavender shampoo and conditioner from Young Living as well as Sulfurzyme that thickens and strengthens my hair. I know it will work for you, too. They don't just say it is natural - it really is. Elisabeth_min <_min wrote: Hello all. I am new to the natural health path but learning. Also, I forgot to mention - I often put a few drops of Rosemary in the shampoo to further condition my hair. Elis...._min <_min wrote: Hello all. I am new to the natural health path but learning. Dear friend, There is a Shampoo called Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo, It is a natural alternative to many medicated shampoo. Here is some information about it Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo: Stabilised Aloe Vera gel, the main ingredient in this PH-balanced formulation, brings its benefits not only to the hair, but to the scalp too- often the source of

many problems associated with the hair. The antibacterial properties of the gel make this a natural alternative to many of the medicated shampoos on chemist’s shelves. Stabilised Aloe Vera is perfect for troubled hair and scalp for several reasons: It is antibacterial and antifungal – many forms of dandruff and seborrhoea occur because fungal infection grows in a base of dirty sebum. Its enzymatic activity helps slough off and dissolve dead cells, setting the stage for the restoration of healthy tissue. The healthy tissue in turn is helped by the presence of amino acids in Aloe Vera. It is anti-pruritic and stops the itching which accompanies many scalp conditions. Saponins and natural sudsing agents supply both the cleansing and the natural agents that fortify hair and give it body . The deep penetration abilities of stabilized Aloe Vera Gel get down into the scalp

and work beneath the surface to help combat infection and revitalize tissue. Jojoba oil in the shampoo is an excellent lubricant and has been used in hair care formulation for generations, It replenishes lost moisture and nutrients to both the skin and the hair. Works very well with Aloe-Jojoba Conditioning Rinse that helps to remove the electrostatic charges that can build up on the hair and eliminating split ends. You can have a look at the shampoo in my website in personal care products http://aloevera4health.tripod.com It is a great

Shampoo and come with a 60 days money back guarantee. Let me know if you decided to get it. All the best Somaya Manchester,UK _min <_min wrote: Hello all. Hi ,

If you would like to detoxify the chemicals from your scalp, you may

want to try the Miessence hair care line. If you check www.ewg.org

you will see how toxic most shampoo and conditioners really are. My

daughter has had oily, dandruffy hair her whole life (she's 14) and

using all three products: shampoo, clarifying rinse and conditioner

on the ends but not directly on the scalp has left her with nice

shiny clean hair for days in a row for the first time in her life.

When I started using it I had a few detox pimples on my scalp for

about a month and now it's fine. The shampoo will strip off old

product that is imbedded in the hair so it may look limp and thin

for a while. This will also improve as your hair gets back to

normal. The clarifying rinse is vital for the scalp so don't skip

that step if you decide to try this. All the products are certified

organic to food grade with the exception of a few ingredients that

aren't food and can't get certified like minerals for example. They

can be ordered from my website or search the internet for someone

else if you prefer.
