Sub: 2nd World Ayurveda Congress & Expo 2006 at PUNE, MAHARASHTRA,

INDIA

 

It is our privilege and pleasure to inform you that University of

Pune ,

Vijnana Bharati and Department of AYUSH Government of India along

with

National level organizations working for Ayurveda in India joined

together

to conduct the 2nd World Ayurveda Congress 2006 at Pune University

campus

during 10 - 12 November 2006. The focal theme of this congress is

'Ayurveda For The Future' For details please visit our website

The first World Ayurveda Congress was held at Cochin, Kerala, India

in

November 2002. Nearly 3000 delegates representing 28 countries had

participated. In continuation of this we have planned to hold the 2nd

World Ayurveda Congress & Expo 2006 at Pune. The 3 day Congress has

planned for 30 parallel sessions and 5 plenary sessions. Also there

will

be a Symposium on Traditional Knowledge (organized in collaboration

with

World Bank), another on Global perspectives of Ayurveda Practice

(organized by Prof Gerry Bodeker (OxfordUniversity) and Dr Donn

Brennan

(President APA) and a writers seminar for Ayurvedic researchers by

Prof

Edwin Cooper, Chief Editor, eCAM, University of California.More event
