Guest guest
Now that we have removed the sebum and dirt we must replenish the moisture that helps keep it supple and vibrant. This will help sundue and balance the oil production of the sebaceous glands. Cornstarch facial moisturizing 4 Tbsp cornstarch 4 Tbsp glycerin 4 Tbsp rose water 1 cup pure water Combine all ingrdients in a heat resistant bowl and bring to boil. (You can microwave) After heating, let stand til cool, keep in a jar for storage. OR Honey Facial 2Tbsp Honey 24 drops almond oil Combine ingredients in glass o ceramic bowl. Whip until completely mixed and store in jar and store in refrigerator. For all mixtures apply a tiny amount starting on each cheek massaging gently in a circular motion up toward the hairline (not the hair). Use sparingly. You may want to follow up with an oatmeal mask for dry skin. 1/2 cup cooked oatmeat 1/2 cup mashed bannana 1 tbsp honey 1 egg yolk Combine all ingredients and whip into a paste. Apply, let dry 20 minutes rinsing with tepid water. USE moisturizer AFTER masks if they are used. Mask for normal skin 1/2 cup cooked oatmeat 1 Tbsp almond oil 1 egg Mask for oily skin 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal 1/2 cup mashed apple 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 egg white Use all the above in the same manner. Hope this helps not only you, but all others wishing to avoid the chemicals. David DeDominicis <healing_hands75067 wrote: Using a toner will remove any dead cells and dirt remaining. I realize I have to stop using the chemicals which that is in the works. What can I do that is more natural to help clear up the acne ? I dont want to use the stuff from the store that will just dry my skin out & then I will be struggling for weeks to get the dry skin back to being soft & supple !! I'm so desperate right now & I don't want to cake make up on my face to " cover up " . Hi Dawn - I hear your frustration! Couple things to share with you. I don't know how old you are but I'm in my early 40's and never ever had acne and now have small traces of it. They say it's old age, hormones and the like. But whatever the case I didn't want them. I did invest in buying some of those more expensive facial cleansers, and they work. I use Bliss brand. www.blissworld.com or you can buy it at a Sephora store (don't know what state you're in). Their products work wonders for me (I use the cleansing milks and steep cleans lines) in terms of clearing up the face and not drying it out. There is also a moisturizer by Kinerase that is just awesome at moisturizing the face and never ever leaves your face sticky, oily, or the like. I fell in love with it. www.Kinerase.com (I also use their facial cleanser as well). All these brand names have products that are very safe for you skin. I have sensitive skin too. I really encourage you to give them a try or at least read their history and ingredients. Good luck! Dawn - cape cod, ma
