Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I have recently met someone who suffers from chronic migraines and also insomnia. I don't have all the details yet, but I do know he has tried differet methods, and doctors and no one has had any answers for him as of yet. He has been suffering for many years and can no longer work and earn a living. Please send me all your suggestions so we can hopefully come up with something he has NOT tried yet! Also, is EFT effective for these things and if so.....What is the technique? Without having to go buy cd's please. Thank you.
Guest guest
Hello, EFT can be found through Google or other search sites. The manual can be downloaded for free from the site. It may prove very helpful to someone suffering with headaches or insomnia. Hope this helps. Guest guest
For insomnia, has he tried listening to a CD of rain? I have one called Raindance which has soft guitar and rain. It really works for me and my daughter. I got mine at the Dollar Tree. Could he be bipolar? Sleeplessness can be the mania side of it. It will cycle. Eating foods with tryptophan turkey, warm milk with nutmeg, icecream, cheese, Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea, peppermint tea, or Relax Now by Herbalife. Instant hot chocolate made with real milk instead of water helps. (Make it warm, not hot). Add marshmallows so you'll feel like a child again. Write down a complete to-do list for the next day (or month) so you can rest without worrying about forgetting anything. Keep a journal, especially a prayer journal. Write down every worry and then commit them to God with thanks that he is already at work, and as his child, he will handle every one. Find a children's bible or book and read the simplified language. Read a comic book. Slowly. Picture yourself in a setting where you feel completely safe. . Command each part of the body to relax starting with the toes. Flex and release. Spend time during the day looking up at the sky, to realize how small our problems really are in the grand scheme of things. If the worry is money, write yourself a million dollar check, put in an envelope and feel richer. Or write pretend ( " faith " ) checks for all debts and loans, and file them in a safe place. I believe in tithing, and I've had my checks come true! Within a year, I was writing the same checks for real. Even a $40,000 mortgage check, by a miracle. Have childlike faith. Tithing works! Help someone else, and the good feelings will make you feel contentment. He who waters will himself be watered. Take a pain reliever before bed. That way, if anything aches, you won't be kept up because of it. Make it dark and cool. If feet or head is cold wear socks or cap. Read something boring. Eyes going left and right mimic Mom's rocking us as a baby. Or do a find- a- word puzzle until you can't keep eyes open. Crosswords require too much thought. Get a pillow top cover for his mattress, and maybe a flatter pillow, or higher as the case may be. Is his blood pressure high? That can be overstimulating. Take a vitamic C as a diuretic. Or hot water with lemon. A banana might also help. Change rooms. Get out of bed and go lay on the couch and try to stay up to hear the birds or see the sunset after having some milk drink, like hot chocolate or coffee with half and half or real cream.. Turn the TV on Nascar, or golf, or bowling, or QVC, at a very low roar. Leave the light off but try to read the newspaper in the dark. Does he work crazy hours? If so, keep the house dark at night or day to fool the body that it is night time, resetting circadian rhythms. I hope something here is new that he hasn't tried. Please let me know God bless you, Athena
