Guest guest
Robin--Yikes!!! Ear candling with paper???? Scares me just reading about it here. I've got some real ear candles that I've been to chicken to try yet, and your sis goes and lights PAPER in her ears???!! ROTFL!!!! That reminds me of when I tried to help a close friend whose son had a bad chest cold. I gave her all the stuff along with the instructions on paper. Next thing I knew she called me up and said his skin was red and burned by the mustard poultice...I asked if she used the olive oil on the skin, and she said YES!! I was totally upset. I mentioned to some herbalist friends what happend, and one told me that I might as well told her to put hot mashed taters on her sons chest, cause it would have worked. I was not happy, and for this very reason, I am VERY cautious about telling other people how to use the things I take for granted and use regularly on myself and family. ---- herbal remedies Friday, June 21, 2002 1:00:47 PM herbal remedies [herbal remedies] Re: colloidal silver well, as my sis isn't one to sit around and let things naturally heal, shewent to the clinic the day after I left (after we'd been on CS for twodays.) He had no idea about goldenseal and CS ( and he was a very old man)and gave her a bunch of samples of antibiotics, nose sprays, and ear drops. She used the ear drops and really couldn't hear. She went to work and aco-worker (who is a native american) told her about 'ear candling'. Shewent home that evening, rolled up a piece of paper in a funnel shape, put itin her ear, lit the paper and let it burn a little. BAMMO-she could hear.I think that has something to do with negative pressure as the paper burns(right?). so, my guinea pig bailed on me!!!I will however keep it on hand to test on the kids, husband, or whomeverelse walks by looking like they need a good dose!!! I did rub some on aneighbor's elbow where exema keeps its place. I'll check on that too andlet you know.RobinFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1.
