Some years back I started up with it... was going thru much stress in my life and marriage.. Back then I wasn't into herbs much and Doc gave me some drug that did help... but also counseled me and once I got the stress out of my life, and/or dealt with it - my colon has been fine now for years.... I had just read in a nutrition book that many physicians may believe that the spastic colon is all psychological and often refer the patients to counseling. I guess they associate it with stress and you know how docs *love* to blame everything that happens to females on stress!
