Guest guest
Try the Atlantic Spice Company if you are east or San Francisco Herb Company west. They are " related " somehow. I have had good success with them. Chris > And which is better? Oh and does anyone know if/where I could buy > herbs in bulk online? I'm looking for the cheapest retail price, but > want good herbs. Guest guest
With organic you have the best chance of not having any pesticides or chemicals added to the herb, but the soil it is grown in is likely to be ammended with natural fertilizers/compost this is good or bad depending on your personal point of veiw. With wildcrafted you get the herb havested in its natural enviroment, soil. the idea is that the plant will be its healthiest and most potent. It is likely to be pesticide free but no promises. The herb is not likly to have been harvested by the seller but from a network of independant wildcrafters. Most are very honest and never harvest with in 100metres of any road or from farmers fields, but ya never know. Personally I go with organic first, wildcrafted second and then whatever. It can also be important to ask what country the product came from since some countries do not have the most ethical harvesting practices. I also tend to buy the whole herbs so that I can tell freshness and quality. with prepowerded herbs again you never know what it has been cut with and how old it was when the powdered it. bob --- mrsboston_322002 <mrsboston_322002 wrote: > Could someone please tell me what is the difference > between the two? > And which is better? Guest guest
SF Herbs is awesome. I've been ordering from them for about 6 years now and they've never fudged an order on me. I even toured their place in SF when I went to pick up my step-daughter from the SF airport. It's an herbalists' dream to walk through a place like that. I was very impressed. They even had a clearance shelf where I bought tons of stuff for half price, mostly for potpourri and ritual use, but good stuff, nonetheless. They have quality products and they ship quickly.
