Guest guest
Milk thistle is worth a try under the circumstances. I've never heard of an adverse reaction from it. Also, try cooking with star anise and fennel. A very pleasant solution. The most respected Italian cooks will bury a couple of fennel seeds deep inside meatballs. Star anise is a nice salad spice. Many people diagnosed with CFIDS, CFS, Fibromyalgia, and a couple of similar conditions have damaged livers. That seems to be part of the problem, but within allopathic medicine tests of liver function are not very accurate or comprehensive. You would generally find a better diagnosis within Acupuncture or Kinesiology. Might be a good idea to consult one of these practitioners, given the history you mentioned here.
