Guest guest
I use hawthorn, Krista. I make a tincture of the berries, or the leaves and flowering tips, or both. It helps slow and strengthen my heart beat, which helps keep my blood pressure low. Meg
Guest guest
Hi Krista, I would suggest that you get her taking cayenne, garlic and the heart formula that you can find in the files under Dr. Ian Schillington. If you can get her to do it a total body cleanse would be of immense help. Also have her take Vit. E and Coenzyme Q10. All of this will assist in bring her blood pressure in line and help to equalize it and maintain it. It will also help to strenghten her heart. She doesn't smoke does she? Guest guest
HI Krista, Doing the liver & gall bladder cleanse will help quite a bit with cleaning out the nicotine and tar, which will aid in helping your mother to quit smoking by lessening the cravings. It wil also aid if she uses caffeine in any way by reducing the cravings for this drug, as well. Now this only handles the physical cravings. Not eating sweets nor salty spicy food will also help. Using lobelia will also aid in helping her to quit smoking as the constituent lobeline is quite similar to nicotine without the negative, addictive effects on the body. She does need to quit smoking and it is good that she has cut down this much. But if she wishes to regain good cardio-vascular health she will have to cut out the cigarettes and caffeine if she uses coffee or tea. Guest guest
Hi Krista, Here is the heart formula: Buy the ingredients at a good Natural Health Store that does not use Pesticides etc.,A part is by volume (i.e 1 cup or 1 tablespoon ful)You can use the dried or powdered variety. Fresh is always better but sometimes hard to find.Put them all into a Blender. Add the Vodka. blend. Pour into a glass jar. Screw the lid on.Put into a dark cool place and shake every day. Twice if possible. Three times a day would be best.Make the tincture at the New Moon .Two weeks later (at the Full Moon), strain out the liquid into amber dropper bottles.Take one to three dropperfuls (36 drops) 1 to 3 times a day.,..Love Penny Tincturing:- 1) On the New Moon, Put herbs into a blender. 2)Add enough vodka to cover. 3) Switch blender on for a minute or so. 4) Make sure that you have about 1/5th more vodka than the herbs. 5)Put into a sealed glass jar (one that has been well washed and has no trace of chlorinated water - rinse it in distilled water) 6) Place in a cool dark place that you frequent two or three times a day. 7) shake it well each time you pass. 8) At the Full moon or 14 days;- 9)Strain thru a clean organic cloth into a glass or ceramic bowl. 10) Pour into a dropper bottle (that can be bought at a chemist or a health food store or on line at jeans greens) Dr. Schultze's Heart Formula: 8 Parts Hawthorne Berry1 Part Red Clover Blossom1 Part Cactus Grandiflorus Stem and Flower1 Part Motherwort Herb1 Part Garlic Bulb1 Part Jamaican Ginger Root.5 Part Hottest Cayenne PepperBlended all in a base of 50% Alcohol and 50% distilled water. It was listed under Doc Ian Schillington ND. and then you needed to go to heart formula. I hope this helps. Don Don,Thanks for your help.I looked in files under heart formulaand nothing came up.
