Guest guest
Shelly, try meditation... find a quiet place, either sit with legs crossed (on floor) arms down on lap or lay down on your back... think or envision a peaceful place i.e. mountain top, beach, woods, etc... breathe deeply releasing your breath slowly, try to empty your mind of everything except the quiet place you have picked out to be.... now, relax your body a piece at a time.... my toes are relaxing..... my feet are relaxing... my calves.. etc... all the way up to the top of your head.. after that tell yourself you are totally relaxed and when you get up at the count of 10 (count backwards) you will be refreshed. (it takes some practice for some) Suzi Shelly wrote: I have a question about relaxation... as of lately, I been getting "Braxton (sp?) Hicks... or known as false labor I guess... and sometimes it lasts longer then other times and was wondering if anyone knew of any good relaxation methods I can do.. I'm not the type to go into true labor or anything... I have never progressed or anything... so I have to have mine by c-section! ShellyFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1.
