Question about water in the ear

Hi Shelly,

The ear canal is not a straight pipe. There are several things she can try to get the water out. She can tilt her head and either pull up and back on the top of her ear or down on the ear lobe. This will assist in straightening out the canal and, hopefully, allowing the water to drain out. Or she can very carefully use a q-tip and just place it inside the canal and allow it to soak up the water. Or have someone using a babies aspirator gently aspirate the water out. Here are three approaches.

[herbal remedies] Question about water in the ear

I have an online friend who told me that she has had water in her ear for 3 days now.. and doesn't know what to do to drain it out.. Usually when I get water in my ear, it drains pretty quickly.. so wasn't sure what to tell her.. any insights would be appreciated! :)
