It did not require supplements or exercise, just a change of eating habits. You might want to check it out. I got the book used from amazon.com. Hope this helps. She does not eat fatty food, and she doesn't eat sweets, but she is still overweight. She eats cooked veggie, fruits, and almost no oil. No junk food also. Once a week she goes out to eat but no fast food. She does not exercise. When she tried she gained more weight. And she was so skinny when she was child that was hard to look at her. Later she started with karate and was ok.
