Aaaaarrrrrgggggghhhh!!!!!

St. John's Wort has the same actions as the SSRI's you vilify, to

the degree that taking St. John's Wort carelessly in conjunction

with other SSRI's can result in what's known as " Seratonin

Syndrome " . St. John's Wort interacts with other herbs and natural

substances and pharmaceutical drugs in the same way, to the same

degree as the SSRI's. The same cautions must be taken, and I highly

suggest cross-referencing all supplements someone takes with the

same degree of care as pharmaceuticals (actually, for many people, I

would advise they take more care with natural supplements). Just

because something is found in nature does not mean it is safe or

even effective for all people. Now, would you care to retract your

statement about " no side effects " ??

Randy, if you have a known blood clotting problem, and have a clot now in your leg, and you do not already have a stint in your vena cava to filter them out - they would travel to your lungs and kill you.

Dear Cat,

If your only complaint against Paxil is that of price and you are upset over having run out of the stuff, then I'd like to suggest you can't see the forest for the trees, and truly have a low perception of what is happening in your own body.

Please forgive me for being so blunt. As I said in an earlier post to Emre, I don't have a subtle bone in my body.

It is well known that drugs (of any kind) blunt a person's perception of their body, and usually alter an individuals awareness to the point where things become reversed. IE. 1. You might think you're running around functioning at an optimum level when an outsider might think you were totally off the wall and producing absolutely nothing. 2. You may think a drug has taken away pain, when the reality is that the pain has been suppressed and awareness of it has simply been negated. 3. You think you're surviving quite nicely, when in reality, you're going downhill at break-neck speed and the next operation is just around the corner.

Personally, I'd love to see you get off of this psychiatric / medico / pharmaceutical merry-go-round, and the nutritional data in the cassette lecture I sent you is the place to start.

At this date in time, there is only one area where allopathic medicine has any use whatsoever, and that is in the field of "Emergency Medicine" = to get the bullets and the steering wheels out. That's it!

Why is this??? Answer: Their sole motivation is the "BUCK".

Love,

Doc

[herbal remedies] Thanks :)

Paxil has helped me tremendously and the only complaint I have is the price... I do hear they're coming out with a generic soon... Unfortunately, I ran out a few days ago and will have to go back to the Dr. to get a new script. (Grr!) I'll let ya know how it goes. :)Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Thanks again, Cat

Actually, I agree with the Aaaaarrrrrgggggghhhh!!!!! , but go a 180 on just about everything else you've said here Sara. LOL ;o)

See my earlier post comparing SJW with SSRI's. They are not comparable under any circumstances. They just ain't!

Secondly, as long as you are using certified organic herbs, it is virtually impossible to hurt yourself. Herbal remedies have a built in self protection factor (probably designed by Nature with the stupid or the careless in mind), and that is this one fact. Invariably if you overdose on an herbal preparation, you will puke. The body will reject what it can't handle. Additionally, the act of "puking" can, and almost always is, very beneficial for the body. Puking sends a vibration down the entire length of the body which has the characteristic of opening up "stopped" flows. There was an entire procedure around the turn of the 19th / 20th century developed by ole Doc Thompson who literally cured hundreds of thousands of patients with a plethora of ills by using only a "purge and puke" routine and the herb Lobelia. His "healing" stats were awesome.

Thirdly, when you suggest that we "cross referrence", you are asking for a lot of extra work that is redundant, and very complex. This 'complexity' is completely unnecessary. Natural healing is truly simple as long as one gets a few of the basic concepts down cold. One has to understand the basic "cause" (the common denominator) of all physical illness, and once you've grasped this, you can align all the rest of your data.

There are two factors at the root of all illness, one mental, and the other is this basic, common denominator, physical manifestation.

#1. THE MENTAL BASIS OF ALL DISEASE IS STRESS!!! The word "Stress" can be used synonymously with the word "Suppression". There are NO exceptions to this. Wherever you find disease, you will find "Stress" as a major factor prior to the acquisition of the disease 100% of the time. Sometimes this stress can be of a physical nature, but affects us mentally.

#2. THE PHYSICAL BASIC COMMON DENOMINATOR OF ALL DISEASE IS STOPPAGE!!! For many years, I'd bought and accepted the answer from Doc Schulze who learned it from Doc Christopher that this common denominator was "Blockage". As I started my journey into the realm of health, this seemed to be true, but in my own research I kept running into circumstances where there was NO "Blockage", and yet a condition of disease existed. It baffled me for a while until I realized that "Blockage" was the wrong answer and that I had to research it further. Why? Because "Blockage" did not answer the problem of Diabetes and the non functioning Islets of Langerhans that goes with that condition. It did not solve the problem of exhausted adrenal glands in the (20 pots of coffee a day) patient, as there was NO "Blockage" to be removed. I had to throw out this stable datum and develop another one which was workable 100% of the time. After much research, I finally managed to fine-tune this and came up with "Stoppage" as the final answer. Wherever you find "Blockage", you'll always find "Stoppage" to a greater or lesser degree. But, you don't always find "Blockage" where there is a "Stoppage". Sometimes a condition exists whereby a gland or organ has simply ceased to function. This is "Stoppage". The biggest question I had to ask and prove was, "Did this stable datum I had discovered, lead to a resolution of ALL disease?". The answer so far is, "YES!". I haven't found an exception to date, and believe me, I've looked. One time only, I thought I'd found an exception in a patient until I realized that, "ALL DISEASE IS CURABLE! BUT NOT ALL PATIENTS ARE! THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE DETERMINED TO BE VICTIMS AND WHO ARE ACTUALLY TRYING TO SUCCUMB!". I could go on for reams and reams with this to show you the proofs, but space and time will simply not allow it here in this short post. I also challenge anyone to disprove the above and I mean this seriously. I've challenged it myself many times just to ensure that it is workable. And workability has always been my guideline. Does a therapy, treatment, or remedy work? That is the ultimate proof!

I hope this helps.

Love,

Doc
