Guest guest
I have read many articles about the benefits of EFAs to health and how popular is the ingestion of flax seed and its oil. But after i read the doc's article about enzymes inhibitors, I ask how good can be the use of grounded flax seed or flax seed oil? Wouldn't be purslane a better source if I don't like to consume fish due to mercury risk? Certainly, there is a protocol for cancer based on flaxseed oil an cottage cheese, I imagine enzymes inhibitors must interfere in the success of this treatment, no? Guest guest
Dear Victor, Your question shows you're thinking along the right path and this is good. This is why I use only UDO's Choice Perfected Oil Blend rather than any other "Flax" oil. All the others are stored in plastic (either in bulk or in the store's container), and so there is a chance of contamination there. UDO's is the exception, as it has never touched plastic in any of its processing. Also, these oils are extracted leaving the enzyme inhibitors behind with the husk and the rest of the plant matter. Ohhhhh, there might be a trace of them in the oil, but this trace is negligible and will do no harm. It is still the best source of Omega 3 & 6, and GLA that I have found and is extremely beneficial for anyone.
