Guest guest
Gosh, I get my stuff from all over including organic farmers who only grow for me. I suggest you check the files under "sources". One source that comes to mind is: Pacific Botanicals. You should be able to find them on the internet. Just let your fingers do the walking through the internet and you'll do fine ;o) Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - tiredmamame <rprairie herbal remedies Thursday, December 26, 2002 3:21 PM [herbal remedies] question for Doc In your opinion what are the best sources for me to use to order the bulk herbs that I need to use to make the Total Nutrition formula?Of course I want the best price but I also want to best herbs also. Guest guest
Dear Brigitte, I am only guessing and may in fact have the spelling incorrect but here is what I would think TA could refer to is transeschemic attacks. My Mother has had them and they are mini strokes. She has always been able to completely recover from them. I hope this gives you enough to begin a search. Guest guest
Bridge, is this in relation to the mini stroke. Guest guest
Brigitte, You sure it doesn't say TIA? Here's some info if that's what it says. If the doctor did put TA and is referring to the mini strokes then.........hmmmm...well, I don't know...you might want to find another medico!! Unless, this is a shorthand for TIA? Dunno, I'm just a Chiropractor :0) Anna ============================================================ ========== Physicians have known for years that patients who suffer transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), brief interruptions in the blood flow to the brain, are at risk for heart disease or strokes sometime in the future. However, a new study finds the risk of stroke may be almost immediate, often within days of a TIA. Therefore, the researchers say that patients who suffer TIAs should seek medical attention as soon as possible so immediate precautions may be taken to decrease the risk of stroke. Physicians describe a TIA as a " mini " or " little " stroke in which the blood supply to the brain is temporarily stopped. According to the American Heart Association, more than a third of patients who have mini strokes will suffer strokes in the future. A TIA usually results in a sudden and brief decrease in brain function. Symptoms of TIAs commonly include sudden speech difficulties, vision changes, loss of balance, weakness, numbness in the limbs, or lack of coordination. These symptoms are temporary; they may last only a few minutes or up to 24 hours.
Guest guest
I was looking at the form again and it is not clear if it is a coma or an I. He makes all of his ponctuation signs pretty large but his letters are irregular.. Well he is a doctor.. Don't they take a special course to right that way? But from the list of symptoms it is more like Temporal Arteritis and Polymialgia. I am no doctor so I can't say. Thank you this was very interresting. Guest guest
Dear Mike, Did you see my response to HR??? The list is where I answer these questions. I've resubmitted my original answer, and made a few additions. Good luck with this. In Health and Love, Doc Dear Mike, He should also be on the Total Nutrition Formula as in the Files. And lastly, he should be taking up to 8 cloves of Garlic a day. Garlic is Nature's best all natural chelator and will help to remove toxins from his brain. All the rest of what you're doing with him is great. All the best, Doc Addition: I almost forgot. He should also be on the Brain Formula. This would be imperative. Do you answer questions directed to you on that forum? I am quite disappointed I never got a reply to my question. I felt the question was straight forward and easy enough for you to answer. If you have not helped people with dementia, and do not know helpful information for dementia, just say so. I am feeling the Herbal Remedies group is a clique in which I am not a member. MMMEC123 Mike CaseyI never got an answer to my question, so I'll try again.Doc (or anyone),have you helped people with dementia? My Father has short termmemory problems and is getting worse. He is 75 years old and has beentaking aricept for about a year now. He hates to take it because itmakes him dizzy. He also takes two different high blood pressuremedications. For the past few months he has been taking ginkgo biloba three times aday as well as folic acid, B-6, and B-12. I try to give him PantherPiss at least once a day. (when I see him) He wont take it unless I'mstanding there watching. Should I be mixing this with water?Any advice would be appreciated, thanks, Mike
