Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I'm hoping to find some help on this subject. My dad has hemorroids that have become pretty bad. They are external and he usually has some pain with it. He is not a doctor person so just uses over the counter products but without all that much improvement. Is there some kind of ointment or herbal remedy that I can offer to him to help with this. Much thanks!! Gina
Guest guest
I put ice cubes "up there" after my last kid was born. They were gone pretty quick after doing that a few times. Guest guest
Hi Gina hemorroids are varicose veins in a very uncomfortable spot. I got some with all three of my pregnancies. What helped was keeping some witch hazel extract around. Luckily, they did go away all three times of there own accord after delivery. Doc has written an enlightening article on varicose veins found at the link below that may shed some light on why he is getting them. I will add that diet is oh so important here. If he is constipated at all, these things will pop up and be worse than ever, so eating right is very important.
