Guest guest
I use Melaleuca's natural scent, it smells good and works awesome, I'm allergic to most deodorants myself. Guest guest
I use plain ol' baking soda, and it works great. I have very sensitive skin, though, and occasionally it irritates it. Lately I've been using cornstarch baby powder, which is nice. Smells so good. I don't eat much meat, and I think that's why I don't have a big problem with BO even when I forget the baking soda (and of course the daily shower helps). When I do sweaty things in close proximity to people, I just wonder what they think of the natural sweat smell... Well, I can't stand their overpowering artificially-scented clothes/armpits/hair/everydarnthing, so I guess I shouldn't worry about it. , Bea Bernhausen <beabernhausen> wrote: > Hi all > I was wondering what the consensus might be on deo crystal deodorant and what are some good herbal type deodorants > Thanks > Bea
Guest guest
> I use plain ol' baking soda, and it works great. My vote goes to colloidal silver. It also gets rid of the sour smell on the shower curtain and hard hat liners, and tends to keep the dog less odorous ...I even drench my sneakers in it and let dry. Guest guest
Hi Bea - I've tried three different crystal deodorants in the past few years. I cannot remember any brand names - but each one was expensive (it would be worth it if they worked, but...). None of them worked for me - but I've heard some have good results with them. Everybody's chemistry is different - so if you want to try one I would just recommend buying one from a store that will refund your money should it not work. Good luck!Bea Bernhausen <beabernhausen wrote: Hi all I was wondering what the consensus might be on deo crystal deodorant and what are some good herbal type deodorants Thanks Bea «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§ - PULSE ON WORLD HEALTH CONSPIRACIES! §Subscribe:......... - To :.... - Any information here in is for educational purpose only, it may be news related, purely speculation or someone's opinion. Guest guest
How exactly did it not work? I assume you know that this is *deodorant*, which does not stop-up the sweat glands as does *anti-perspirant*. Just the idea of my sweat glands being purposely clogged up makes me squirm. That stuff needs to come o-u-t. It don't stink as long as it's fresh 'n' clean. Just a natural human body scent. Heh - I have to mention this. My ex's body chemistry was perfect for me (read fascinating stuff in Psychology Today magazine about smell of immune system components, which women can smell but men can't). He used deodorant (not anti-perspirant), so I got the full benefit of his bouquet ;+) I'd bury my nose in his armpits... , Cassandra Mason <sandyrupp2002> wrote: > Hi Bea - I've tried three different crystal deodorants in the past few years. Guest guest
yes - you can assume that I know that the crystal *deoderant* is that - and, no, it did not deodorize as intended. I'll keep searching for the right kind. As for your last comment about burying your nose in your ex's armpits, well.... that made me squirm. To each his (or her) own as they say... Guest guest
The crystal deoodorents do not work, in my experience. I do like Le Stick French Green Clay deodorent. --- Bea Bernhausen <beabernhausen wrote: > Hi all > I was wondering what the consensus might be on deo > crystal deodorant and what are some good herbal type > deodorants > Thanks > Bea > > > > > Y! Guest guest
Hi Bea. I was using the Alba organic lavender deodorant and it wasn't really lasting all day on the days I would do heavy exercise, so I switched to the deo crystal and I haven't had any problems since. I would have gladly applied the Alba 2x/day if the crystal hadn't worked, though. Anything but the aluminum crap!
