Guest guest
I found out that TEA is NO LONGER used in Ron Salley's products. He never liked it in the first place, but it was the only thing (at that time) that kept his creams and lotions from turning yellow, and was used in his product in "trace" amounts. Additionally, I found from a Dr John Hiller, a top chemist in this country, that trace amounts of TEA were never found to be harmful, and that the studies you mentioned were on concentrations far greater than humans ever get. However, I am a firm believer that trace amounts of harmful/toxic chemicals add up, and as Rachel Carson pointed out, chemical A might be harmless and chemical B might be harmless, but together they could be deadly in even the smallest quantities. The only reason the TEA is still listed at the site is that they have thousands of labels with TEA printed on them, and even though they've removed it, having a home based business that lives from week to week has forced them to use the old labels. Loretta, thank you for the heads up. Ron has developed some of the best creams I've ever seen. I had a solar keratosis on my cheek that the VA docs wanted to remove surgically. I used three different skin formulas on it that have been used for skin cancers (written about at my site under Skin Cancer) but it was a formula by Ron Salley that finally removed it permanently. Tea tree oil sells for as low as seven cents an ounce online, but Ron Pays over 2 bux an ounce for the tea tree he uses in his formulas because all his ingredients are distilled/prepared according to his instructions and in small batches to maintain a constant temperature. He says he'll gladly give away the exact formulation to his products to any person on earth, because they won't get half his results. All of his ingredients are prepared using very low temps and methods that took him some thirty years to perfect. And, I must tell you all: I promote Ron's products for a selfish reason. I want his business to thrive so that I can keep getting his products. He gets me a lot of free samples and I never pay more than half price, so, yes, I do this for a selfish reason. I just love his stuff and won't go without it. I've never, ever seen results like these, and when I give away a free bottle now and then, it always results in more sales. If only we could get Ron on Oprah. He'd be the millionaire he deserves to be. Blessings all, David P.S. Here is my gift to you. Send me your address (ahzoov) if you want a free sample of SugarFoot. For anyone in this group, I will gladly pay (remember, I get them half price) for a sample of SugarFoot to be sent to you. And Drs Goebel and Uzick, you can sell it from your clinic under your private label. So.....get me an address, and I'm willing to gift everyone in the group, one free sample of SugarFoot? Why? Because people who are doing good work really must be supported. That's a rule to live by. See what's free at AOL.com.
Guest guest
Thanks, David, for finding out this information. I would highly suggest that Ron change his labels immediately. Not only in order to provide the truth to his customers but so that any government agency cannot come down on him. This is far more a liability in keeping him in business than any other concern. Plus, it adds creditability to the natural products industry that our FDA so much wants to regulate. Remember that chemists, no matter how respected they are, believe in chemicals. They are the ones that tell the cosmetic industry that all the junk in their personal care products (which Americans slather on) are safe because they are in such minute amounts. The average American uses between 8-15 personal care products daily. All filled with chemicals and hormone mimickers. This is when it becomes dangerous as “trace amounts” soon become large amounts. Many chemicals do build up in the body. Interestingly enough, our FDA doesn’t seem to require good testing or even “any” testing on how these chemicals work in the body. They just “assume” they are safe. Just as they “assume” the clinical trials that the pharmaceutical companies pay for are “correct” and above-board. Then later, when people begin to die, we find out the truth—information from these wonderful clinical trials has been suppressed or disregarded completely. There are a lot of people that are developing clean and pure skin-care and personal products. We formulate a natural progesterone cream that is the cleanest on the market. We make sure that our base lotion is pure and natural. Many compounding pharmacies are using base lotions with chemicals in them, so women are getting what they think is natural (which the progesterone is) but is mixed with chemicals. We don’t include herbs, as some do, because not all women need the same herbs and some don’t need any at all. We also formulate in very small batches so that no one ever gets cream that is more than 1-2 weeks old. Most of our ingredients are organic and all are of the highest quality and natural. I insist on this I am a cancer survivor and I know the importance of making sure that we offer products that are safe, even for those with disease. We do not ever want to add more toxins to the body. I have had formulators call me and literally get mad and scream at me telling me that there is no way that we can formulate a cream with the ingredients that we have listed. Well, the younger formulators are finding ways to make pure and clean products and the older ones (unfortunately) will not step out-of-the-box to learn new techniques. This is something that I do not put up with—the words “I can’t” or “It can’t be done.” We don’t use the word “can’t” at OAW. J I don’t doubt that Ron’s products are good. And I congratulate him for taking out the TEA! But he needs to get his labels changed so that his “word” matches what is on his product. Again, I know exactly the expense of labels, but it is worth it to be truthful to your customers and it is just good business. I would love to take you up on your offer for a free sample and will send you my address. Thanks for the offer!
