Why Animals Are Getting Heart Attacks

I have read Dr Rath's books which (I think) were first written in the late seventies early eighties. Linus Pauling and Rath discovered that a lack of vitamin C (the cause of scurvy) caused pitting in the arteries. Animals make vitamin C.

However, since then, inflammations in the blood have taken over as the main cause of heart disease, and body burden (chemicals in the body) has increased dramatically so that the amount of vitamin C that animals make (all except the guinea pig and humans) isn't enough at times.

Given this, his books are still worth reading.

Tony,

I haven't read Dr. Raths book, but I can tell you that horses and dogs do indeed get heart attacks. I have witnessed a few horses and two dogs over the years die from myocardial infarctions.

I think his latest edition is quite good - and it provides much, much

more than just vitamin C when it addresses vascular health and proper

nutrients at the cellular level.
