Guest guest
Hola Barbara- That is very interesting! As a young boy in Cuba, I remember that a some people said that goat milk was that way, but I can not remember too much of it. I knew a lady who was very old and she would only drink goat milk. Guest guest
Hi Luis, Do you mean, her only food was goat milk? No solids? I'm not surprised at all. Anyone can live forever drinking only cow milk but it has to be raw. A person would die on a pasteurized and homogenized milk from the grocery store. Doesn't that tell you something? Guest guest
Well, I guess that she ate something else! The store was half a block from her house! And food was very inexpensive in Cuba in the fifties! LuisBarbara <barbara3 wrote: Hi Luis, Do you mean, her only food was goat milk? No solids? I'm not surprised at all. Guest guest
Apparently there's a demand for it in the US too: http://www.realmilk.com/donkey-milk.html Cyndi In a message dated 1/18/2007 12:47:18 P.M. Guest guest
I did not go deeper into this subject but logically I can see no reason why donkey milk could not be consumed and with the benefits. It is too bad that they do not produce more of it. On the flip side, donkey milk does not have nearly enough butter fat which is so beneficial to our health.
