Guest guest
I understand completely, Ellen! The important thing is, you are educating yourself NOW, and you can incorporate things you wish LATER, as you are able. None of us eats the "ideal" diet-and "ideal" IS different for each of us. I am so envious you can raise your own eggs! You would not believe (well, you probably would, lol) how hard it is to find "good" eggs. All commercial egg producers, and even organic farms, feed their chickens the commercial soy-based feed available. I am having such a hard time finding people who actually give their chickens greens, scraps, let them graze for bugs, etc. Chickens need to consume protein for good eggs, so organic flaxseed is an excellent alternative to soy, but there is just not enough of a reliable supply for organic chicken growers (?) to make the switch. I want chickens! LOL. :-)Cyndi In a message dated 1/20/2007 12:24:08 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, scentednights2002 writes: Thanks Cyndi. Guest guest
Tell me about it! I want to move to the country NOW, lol. I want my chickens and to grow my own veggies NOW. I think we'll appreciate these things all the more because we have to WORK at getting them. And PATIENTLY, lol. ;-)Cyndi In a message dated 1/20/2007 1:15:29 P.M. Now I have the interest & no $$! I hate waiting. I have a HUGE list of things that I want but cannot get because we cannot afford it. I just keep trying to raise the $$ and have patience.
