Hey guys...just stumbled across this great article called "My Cure for Affluenza" and this quote just jumped out at me and smacked me in the face with its truthfulness:

"Affluenza leads us to place a high value on earnings, possessions, appearances and celebrity, a low value on relationships, security, autonomy, friends and family, and blinds us to what makes us happy as human beings."

It sums up in a nutshell what was missing from my life while living in the old days of affluenza hell! In fact, I like it so much that I may make it my signature for awhile! I feel so much more peaceful, fulfilled and purposeful living simply...and most of all, HAPPY. Even though times are tough and money is tight...it's just not that important. So what? I live on a little less. If one has what's TRULY important to them, they are rich in spirit!

Here's the link in case anyone is interested in reading more: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2092-2545851,00.html
