Guest guest
I also read that the USPS charges a good fee to deliver junk mail, and it is their bread and butter, because they don't make any profit from first class mail. I get my junk mail like clockwork every Wednesday, and yet it can take up to 10 days to get a priority package that I PAY for. It's enough to motivate me not to help the Post Office out! I also doubt that it helps to try to take your name off those lists because the new ones are forming every day. I guess we are stuck with junk mail for good. Guest guest
Hey, this is your last year selling anyway! LOL! If the USPS looses enough junk mail customers, be prepared for bigger postage rate hikes. Personally, I wouldn't mind paying more in postage to get rid of junk mail. But in terms of doing eBay business, I grumble at each postal increase, as it cuts either into my profit or, if I do pass shipping cost increases onto my Buyer, it cuts into how much I sell. So I am torn on this issue.sluggy

Guest guest
Sounds just like veterinarian service. Their bread and good butter comes from yearly vaccines that are not only unnecessary but terribly harmful to the dogs but the vets still send those reminder cards "Your dog is due...." Makes me furious!!! Where is that "First, do no harm" ??? Guest guest
I guess every person has different outlook at those things depending on the way we are using the post service. Guest guest
Ohhhhh noooooo, not the SIL! Well, I'll be looking forward to this years stories lol. At least she didn't come on your birthday again! You haven't had snow, and I haven't had rain. A VERY weird winter! (Normally I wouldn't even care about no rain, but that means it's been very cold out here. NO, I know it's not cold like everyone else gets, lol.) ;-)Cyndi In a message dated 1/22/2007 10:57:28 P.M. Guest guest
That's why it's so important for us to educate ourselves.....we're so conditioned to doing what we're told to do.....
