Guest guest
I couldn't agree more. I've found some great information out there, especially Shirleys Wellness Cafe. Raw is best, of course, but there are lots of other recipes out there too. How great the internet is! I have chicken gizzards in the fridge waiting to be ground up for my picky cats, lol. The dogs just gobble them up whole... Cyndi In a message dated 3/31/2007 10:24:01 A.M. Guest guest
Yes, I FINALLY got them to eat raw chicken ground up. They won't touch it if it's whole. I had to hide it in canned cat food at first, now I'm slowly weaning off the canned stuff. Cats hate any changes, and mine are extra picky/spoiled. They just look at the food, and then look at me, lolol. Hopefully I can accustom them to whole gradually. Cyndi In a message dated 3/31/2007 12:20:04 P.M. Of course I know that every cat is different and yours may love ground... LOL Barbara See what's free at AOL.com.
Guest guest
I don't blame you, after this last recall, it's absolutely scary! But your dogs will be healthier and happier if you make it yourself. They will thank you! LOL. Cyndi IIn a message dated 3/31/2007 4:00:45 P.M. Guest guest
That would be the best, the safest and the most nutritious food for them. And you will be sparing them all those terrible chemicals and preservatives and colors and flavors. Are you aware that more than 50% of dogs are dying of cancer than of any other causes? That's what all those chemicals in the commercial foods are doing to them. And this is before that recall. If you are interested, here is an article you may read. http://www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/petfood1.html Barbara Kathie S wrote: Just heard recall on Alpo canned dog food/w gravy, thats just great, this is what I give our dogs with their dry food. Guest guest
That is great, Cyndi )) It is a lot easier when you start with kittens but you have to work with what you have. Some people on my other groups took more that a year of every day trying to convert the cats to raw meat... Yours are great!
