Guest guest
mmm.. Yesterday whilst weaving I had a short piece of the warp left over so decided to weave it up an use it as a dish cloth. I then did a costing on it. 30g Bamboo [4 times more absorbent] yarn @ R200 per kg = R6 The bought version of inferior quality would have cost R14.00 So I was delighted. I managed to use a remanant and I produced a far superior product than I would ever have been able to buy.
Guest guest
Bamboo yarn! How clever, I've never heard of it. I've been asking my MIL to make me some pot scrubbers out of sisal yarn, but neither of us have been able to find it yet. Cyndi In a message dated 10/2/2007 1:22:09 P.M.
