I did two washes so far and they did the job, the clothes were clean. When I looked into the washer, there was a good amount of suds. After the clothes dried, there was no scent of any kind.

Sounds great…and for those of us

with senior animals who throw up and pee on their blankies??? Did it work on

the animal blankets too? Leslie

p.s. it’s funny, I have a neighbor

from Bali and I was asking her about them. She

didn’t know what they were called, but vaguely recalled her grandmother

using them. She said the kids switched to soap as soon as they could get it.

For them, it was easier and newer.

So far, so good! They seem to work well in my low water washer. I don't notice a lot of suds, but that's not unusual because of the nature of the way the washer works. Clothes smell "clean" without a soapy smell, if that makes sense.

I am, however, the subject of endless teasing from my husband and sons, who call them The Rocks, lol. I can live with that. ;-)Cyndi

I didn't get to the dogs blankets yet. I don't have those problems yet with the dogs blankets, but they still smell "doggy." As it were, lol. I'll keep you posted.

That's funny how your neighbor remembers getting rid of them as soon as possible. And here we are so excited tog et them back, lol.

LOL, I think I'll tell them that they are also used for soup, just to see their faces. They'll probably think I'm serious, lol. I sure hope so! Serve them right. ;-)Cyndi

I finally got up the nerve to use them for washing my wrestler son's work

out clothes.....think very smelly!

They seem to work aok thought I didn't actually bury my head in them and

take a big whiff after washing.

There has also been alot of eye rolling here by my family too. I had to

sit them down and show them the little muslin bag and how you have to take

that out of the pile of wet clothes before putting into the dryer or putting

the clothes outside on the deck railing to dry. I've found the bag a few

times on the floor between the upstairs laundry room and the backdoor as

well as in the dryer. It's gonna take awhile to get them trained.lol

When I first brought home Seventh Generation laundry detergent, my family thought I was crazy, but they got used to using it. Even my skeptical husband uses it willingly. I'm not sure they'll get used to the soap nuts as easily, lol, but they'll get onboard eventually.
