Guest guest
Hi All, For those who avoid grains, here is a recipe that I got today. I will try to bake it as soon as I buy some almond flour. Barbara I just made th most delicious grain free bread, thisrecipe was taken out of Natasha Campbell-McBride'sbook, Gut and Psychology Syndrome---For people withgut issues, she recommends a form of the Specific CarbDiet, which is no grains and very limited starch.Anyways, here is the recipe, it is absolutely delicious!!Basic bread/cake/muffin recipe:2 1/2 cups of ground almonds (almond flour)1/4 cup butter, or you could use coconut oil, goosefat, duck fat or yogurt3 eggsAnd you can add to this any of the following:honey, salt, dried herbs, tomato paste, dried fruit, cheddar cheese, pumpkin, etc. etc.I added 1/4 cup raw honey and some salt, and usedbutter and WOW!!!You can also use this to make pizzacrust and add some grated parmesan cheese/oliveoil/garlic, I have done that and it is better thanwheat pizza crusts!!
