Guest guest
Barb, the best gardening books I know of are Sunset guides, but I don't know if they cover vegetables or not. I'm not at home, so I can't go look at mine. But it's really interesting and very detailed in microclimates. Cyndi In a message dated 8/31/2008 11:55:30 A.M. I live in the Midwest so I was looking for something that talks about vegetables, best time to grow them, what vegetables to plant near each other, best time to plant/harvest, year round gardening for the midwest, etc.....Any suggestions? Thanks again!Barb It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Guest guest
Here's one for the Midwest, but I'm not sure if it covers veggies. Several used copies too: http://www.amazon.com/Midwest-Garden-Guide-Sunset-Books/dp/0376035307 This might help get you started, anyway. :-)Cyndi In a message dated 8/31/2008 11:55:30 A.M. Guest guest
There are many books published, if you have a local library I would start there. I would recommend that you try to locate any books written by Ruth Stout. Try to locate a subscription to Organic Gardening. http://tech.fiftyplusandkids/ ChampaignCountyProduceExchange/ CNYCommunityGardening fragrantherbs --- On Sun, 8/31/08, Barb <FirstYrs08 wrote: Barb <FirstYrs08[RFSL] Recommend a vegetable gardening book?
