Guest guest
I've heard great things about these to help with short and long-term goals and would like to try it. My idea is that whoever is interested would email everyone on the weekend or on Monday about one, concrete action (or step toward a goal) s/he would like to complete that particular week, and then the next weekend/Monday, all would email to both report how it went for the previous goal, and also state the new step/action for the upcoming week. There would be no expectation or obligation to actively support others, aside from the act of witnessing their goals through the weekly exchange of emails, and definitely no judgment. 3-7 people might be reasonable, so that there's enough energy and participation, but not so many emails that it's overwhelming. Here's a video about how it might work, which I have to admit I found slightly annoying, but nonetheless it gives a good, quick idea of how it functions: That video example is for business goals, but there's no reason why we couldn't also use cooking and simplifying and everyday life goals as well. Please email me directly if you're interested, since I don't to the daily digests and only check in here occasionally. I would also ask that you please only email if you feel you really have the ability to commit to supporting others (and yourself) once a week. (Should be about a 5-15 minute endeavor, depending on how much you write and comment.) Thanks! Megan
