Guest guest
" lutamata " <lutamata Mon Mar 24, 2003 2:54 pm self-healing am new to PH. so far, i have learned that when doing self-healing, you visualize yourself in front of you (1-2 feet in height). 1.) when you do general sweeping, do you go through the 5 positions of sweeping? or just do one position of sweeping (since your hands would cover the whole body with that one position)? if so, how many times would you sweep before combing the health rays? 2. if i remember right, when you do localized sweeping, you visualize the person as lifesize. but do i just do this for the back side? 3. for the front, do i cleanse the front chakras and affected parts and vital organs on me or do i visualize myself facing myself? so far, i have been doing the latter. but i keep having these doubts about proper procedure. and then i reassure myself that intent and will are what matters. i would appreciate some clarification. and i hope my questions don't seem dumb... ================================================ Dear Lutamata, Namaste. Thank you for your email. You are right and wise in asking questions to clarify matters so that you can proceed with confidence in the proper practice. Pranic Healing techniques are powerful in their simplicity if properly practiced. Your questions are valid and shows you are practicing and experiencing pranic healing. The Pranic Healing Question and Answer ( ) service is for that purpose. 1. As a beginner, it would be adviseable to do the 5-vertical parallel lines for the front and the back. The reason is that these lines are meridians that we are teaching our consciousness to be aware of and be used to working on during sweeping. 2. When you are visualizing, you may make the person or body part at the size which gives you the best angle or access to specifically cleanse or energize. Remember that Pranic Healing is not only a science, it is also an art. 3. Either way, you are visualiizing the body part or chakra being treated, so you may do either one: to cleanse energize the chakra or organ directly or to visualize yourself facing yourself. Please feel free to ask any questions in future so we can all learn from each other's experience. Love, Marilette ===== Pranic Healing is not intended to replace orthodox medicine, but rather to complement it.
