Guest guest
Dear Heather, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical Background: Most cases of bad breath appear to be due to the breakdown of proteins by a variety of micro-organisms. Several of the breakdown products are foul smelling gases. In people with healthy teeth and gums, the odour usually comes from the far back region of the tongue, and grows stronger when the patient starts talking. Although we do not know why, the very back of the tongue is an important source of bad breath, possibly as a result of postnasal drip, which can get stuck on the tongue and is then broken down by bacteria on the tongue surface.Care should be taken to clean the back of the tongue thoroughly yet gently, without inflicting pain or sores. In some people, bad breath is associated with gum disease, especially if rubbing the areas between the teeth and gums yields a foul odour. Cleaning of the spaces between the teeth is of great importance. People with gum disease often have higher levels of odour coming from their tongue, as well. Common possible causes of bad breath: dryness in the mouth, insufficient saliva flow , gum problems, poor cleaning between teeth, postnasal drip on back of tongue, swelling of gums, tonsilloliths from crypts in tonsils, onset of throat infection, foreign body placed in nose (usually among young children), trimethylaminuria (rare), dentures kept in mouth at night or not cleaned properly, sinusitis, polyps, hindered air or mucus flow, excessive bacterial activity on tongue. Pranic Healing: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2. General sweeping. 3. Localized sweeping on the throat, mouth, the tongue including the back and the gums with alternately LWG and ordinary LWV. 4. Localized thorough sweeping on the throat chakra, secondary throat the jaw minor chakras with alternately LWG and LWV. Energize them with LWG, LWB and LWV. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra and the liver with LWG, LWB and LWO. Energize with LWG and more of ordinary LWV. Apply more sweeping. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the ajna alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize with LWG and more of ordinary LWV. Emphasis is on cleansing. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy. Repeat treatment three times a week. Recommend: 1. Proper oral hygiene: brush teeth after meals, floss teeth at least before bedtime, gentle brushing of the back of the tongue and warm water with salt throat gargle. 2. Regular visit to the dentist for prophylaxes. 3. If using dentures: Regular brushing of dentures. Remove dentures during bedtime. 4. Include plenty of green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and proper amounts of fresh water in daily diet. If symptoms persist or the ailment is severe, please consult immediately a medical doctor and a Certified Pranic Healer . ~ Master Choa Kok Sui Miracles do not happen in contradiction to nature, but only to that which is known to us in nature. ~ St. Augustine The New with improved product search
