Guest guest
Dear Jane, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical background: Guillain-Barre syndrome is a disorder caused by nerve inflammation involving progressive muscle weakness or paralysis, which often follows an infectious illness. Alternate Names : Acute Idiopathic Polyneuritis, Acute Inflammatory Polyneuropathy, Infectious Polyneuritis, Landry-Guillain-Barre Syndrome Guillain-Barre syndrome is an acute type of nerve inflammation. The inflammation damages portions of the nerve cell, resulting in muscle weakness or paralysis and sensory loss. The damage usually includes loss of the myelin sheath of the nerve (demyelination), which slows the conduction of impulses through the nerve. The damage can also cause denervation (kill the axon part of the nerve cell), which stops nerve function entirely. Without the axon, messages cannot be transferred from one nerve cell to another. The exact cause of this disorder is unknown. It may occur at any age but is most common in people of both sexes between the ages 30 and 50. It often follows a minor infection, usually a respiratory (lung) infection or gastrointestinal (gut) infection. Signs of the original infection have usually disappeared before the signs of Guillain-Barre begin. Guillain-Barre syndrome may occur in association with viral infections like mononucleosis, AIDS, and herpes simplex or after infections with bacteria, such as mycoplasma and some types of diarrhea. Sometimes Guillain-Barre occurs after recent surgery or vaccinations (such as rabies and swine flu vaccines) or in association with other medical problems such as systemic lupus erythematosus or Hodgkin's disease. Pranic Healing: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2. Teach the patient to do proper abdominal pranic breathing 6-3-6-3. Have patient do 12 cycles with the tip of the tongue connected to the upper palete. 3. Continue pranic abdominal breathing during treatment. 4. General sweeping several times. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the brain, the ajna, forehead and crown chakra, the temple minor and back head minor chakra. Energize the chakras with with LWG and more of ordinary LWV. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the entire spine and sides of the spine from the base of the head to the tailbone alternately with LWG and LWV. 7. Localized thorough sweeping on the lungs. Energize through the back lungs with LWG, LWO and ordinary LWV prana. The fingers should be pointing away from the head of the patient when using O. 8. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra with alternately LWG and LWO. Energize with LWG, LWO and then with more of LWR. If patient has fever or venereal disease, do not energize the basic chakra. Just apply thorough sweeping. 9. Localized thorough sweeping on the sex and perinium minor chakra. Energize with LWR. 10. Localized thorough sweeping on the hips, the entire length of the arms and legs, the minor chakras of the hips and both arms and both legs, minor chakras of the hands and soles of the feet. Energize with LWG, LWB then more of ordinary LWV. 11. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back spleen chakra, the navel chakra and the abdominal area. Energize the navel with LWV. This will further increase the pranic energy level of the body and to indirectly energize the spleen. 12. If the spleen is painful, directly energize the spleen chakra with LWG and ordinary LWV. Then apply more localized sweeping on the spleen chakra. Avoid over energizing the spleen. 13. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra and the liver. Energize the solar plexus with LWG, LWB and ordinary LWV. This is to normalize the solar plexus chakra which is malfunctioning. 14. Localized thorough sweeping on both kidneys. Energize them with white. 15. Localized thorough sweeping on the jaw minor and throat chakra. Energize with LWG, LWB and ordinary LWV. This is to stimulate the lymphatic system. 16. Localized sweeping on the front and back heart chakra. Energize through the back heart with LWV. This is to stimulate the thymus gland. 17. Localized sweeping on the crown, forehead, ajna, and back head chakras. Energize them with little of LWG, then more of ordinary LWV. 18. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy. 19. Repeat treatment at least 3 times per week. Recommend: 1. Teach the patient the proper practice of the Meditation on Twin Hearts, including the recommended physicalexercises. Let the patient join the group meditation after each healing session. This is a potent way tofurther increase the assimilation of the projected pranic healing energy and facilitate proper healing. On days when pranic healing is not being done, patient may practice the meditation individually. 2. Pranic abdominal breathing for 12 cycles several time each day. 3. Avoid negative thoughts, emotions, activities and environments. 4. Regular low impact physical exercises or physiotherapy treatment. 5. Proper healthy balanced nutritious diet with sufficient amounts of fresh water daily. 6. Practice the law of Karma, Mercy and Forgiveness. 7. Engage in a productive enjoyable hobby and/or do service for others.
