Peaceful Greetings,

I have a friend who is a professional singer,

approximately 52 years

of age. she has been diagnosed with torn vocal

chords. Several years

ago she underwent a double mastectomy but has been

doing very well for

the last several years. she if very physically fit

and in excellent

health.

Can you recommend a protocol for assisting in healing

of the torn

vocal chord.

Many thanks for your help,

Tom

Dear Tom,

Namaste.

Medical Background:

The vocal cords are twin folds of throat muscle

stretched horizontally across the voice box, or

larynx. When breathing, air passes through an opening

between them. To make sound, they're drawn together.

They vibrate when air is forced past them, much as a

reed vibrates in a flute.

Pitch rises or falls depending on how tautly the cords

are stretched ---- think of the strings in a guitar.

Volume is regulated by the force of air expelled past

the cords.

Vocalizing isn't just a physical act. It's a finely

honed cooperative production of the brain's speech

center, nerves that carry its signals to the cords,

head, neck, chest and abdomen.

Adults are reminded of the intricacies of speech when

they develop voice problems.

Laryngitis, an inflammation of the larynx and vocal

cords, can make one's voice so hoarse it's scarcely

recognizable, or make vocalization impossible. This

usually lasts no longer than a couple of weeks.

The inflammation makes the tissues rough and

irregular, so the vocal cords can't snap shut and open

in their usual clean, precise manner. It's often

accompanied by a tickling sensation, a need to clear

one's throat, or a sore, raw-feeling throat.

Viral infections such as colds are the most common

causes of laryngitis. Rest and time is the usual

treatment in such cases, though prolonged loss of

voice indicates a more serious problem.

Hoarseness or loss of voice can also be caused by

tobacco smoke and alcohol, along with damage from

stomach acid surging into the throat, a condition

called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Less commonly, physical trauma and growths on the

vocal cords can make speech difficult or impossible.

....More lasting damage to speech ability can occur

from stroke or nerve damage.

Pranic Healing:

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after

treatment.

2. Play the Meditation on Twin Hearts CD and ask the

patient to follow the guided meditation during

treatment.

3. General sweeping.

4. Localized thorough sweeping on the throat area and

the vocal cords alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV.

Energize the vocal chords with LWG_B then LWG-V then

with gold.

5. Localized thorough sweeping on the throat chakra,

secondary throat minor chakra and jaw minor chakras.

Energize them with LWG then with ordinary LWV.

6. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

heart chakra. Energize through the back heart chakra

with LWG then with more of ordinary LWV simultaneously

visualize the heart chakra becoming bigger and

brighter.

7. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

solar plexus chakra and the liver. Energize the solar

plexus chakra with LWG, LWB, then ordinary LWV.

8. Localized thorough sweeping on the ajna chakra,

crown chakra, forhead chakra and backhead minor

chakra. Energize them with LWG then with more of

ordinary LWV.

9. Localized thorough sweeping on the navel chakra,

basic chakras and the the minor chakras of the arms

and legs, the sole and hand minor chakras. Energize

with W.

10. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy.

11. Repeat treatment once a day until the condition

is substantially improved. Gradually reduce treatment

to 3 times per week.

12. Encourage the patient to practice the Meditation

on Twin Hearts regulalrly once a day to further

increase the rate of healing and to maintain good

health and general well being.
