Hi

I've just been reading the section on pendulum dowsing. I have a clear

quartz pendulum but I'm wondering what sort of things are appropriate

to ask. It seems to work very well when I've asked things i know or

said 'show me yes' or 'show me no'.

can you ask about foods(allergies etc) for example or whether one type

of medical treatment is more appropriate than another for a particular

ailment (eg homeopathy or herbalism)?

hi Louise-

i was initiated into the world of the pendulum by a fabulous shaman in

colorado, and she taught me that once your pendulum has shown you YES

and NO, you can use it for anything. however, i avoid using it for

anything that i have an emotional connection to (like " should i quit

my job? " ), because i do not want to consiously influence the motion of

the stone.

therefore, i use it mainly in my work- during reiki treatments to help

with chakra balancing, i also use it to help me choose stones for a

treatment, or essential oils for an aromatherapy blend, etc.

just remember that it should be an energetic exchange that causes the

motion of the stone, and not your arm, and you should be able to use

it for almost anything.

just my two cents- hope that helps!

namaste,
