Guest guest
I believe that if you wish to try to recover your crystal as one piece, I would find one of the fast curing, clear, Epoxys. The quick curing will allow you to hold the two pieces together until the glue is set enough to hold itself in place, then place it aside to fully cure. I often use childs' clay on a board or Ticky Tac. The last wand I worked on broke at the thinnest portion of the glass handle, so I used that method and then went back over the break in an artful way with one of the paste type epoxies that you have to knead to activate. While it was still tacky, I rolled it in 'Faerie Dust' glitter and you couldn't even tell it wasn't an original. The tip of one of three points of the Orange Calcite Cluster had also broken off and gotten lost, so I found a Faceted Cubic Zirconium of about 1 carat and glued it in place instead. I thought it turned out quite well myself! Now I should build a nice little velvet lined box to keep it in, so that it won't get broken again. Peace and Love, Byron
