Guest guest
From the pages of the Website: http://www.rainbowcrystal.com/ Black Tourmaline (Schorl) Black tourmaline's particular function is to repel negative energy. This can refer both to external energies or inner emotions, such as anger, resentment, or jealousy. It is a very good stone to carry when you're experiencing any kind of stress. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Perhaps this would not be the best stone to try to protect one's self from EMF emissions from your computer monitor and computer? In as much as the computer case, well, the older ones anyway, act as a Faraday Cage, the EMF emissions are probably pretty low. I've never really bothered to check for myself. The monitors might be a bit of a different situation however. I guess that someone with a Galvanometer could take some readings for us and let us know. Personally, I find the data concerning Cell Phone Emissions much more alarming! I'll just continue Being Reiki and carrying whichever stones my Reiki Guides chose for me that Day/Week. Guest guest
Hi Folks, I joined the group a few weeks ago and have never posted before. We keep a piece fluorite in front of the comp monitor. We had an unwanted entity in our home that homed in on my daughter, we had it removed and she wears a black tourmaline pendant for protection. I took my kids to someone get their chakras realigned recently, I thought I would try to do it myself myself and hey presto it worked. I keep a separate dowsing stone for this purpose. I am luck to have a great crystal shop about 5 miles away. This will sound a bit strange but I have had a wart (first wart in my life, shock horror) growing bigger on my hand, this thing was big and round, I held my dowsing stone above it and moved round clockwise then I mentally asked it to clear the chakra, the stone started to move in a straight line towards the tips of my fingers and within a week the wart is half the size. I wondered how often do I use the stone on the wart or is once enough. The dowsing stone I am using for healing is a clear quartz. Guest guest
With animals, especially sick ones, it's best to simple leave the crystals available and they will choose whether or not they want to be near them. Guest guest
~chuckling~ I can't help but chuckle at this due to our dog Schatzi (still a puppy since she isn't 2 yet). From day one of us bringing her home, she has been literally a rock hound! The first time she was shown her place outside for going to the bathroom (it has a bit of driveway type gravel) .... she would bring a stone in the house with her regularly. And she is constantly snagging crystals from the various spots that she can reach! Even though she has her own personal collection of crystals I have let her keep (safe sizes she won't choke on), she still steals other ones and then she will gently chew on them (my husband says she gargles with her crystals because most often when she has the crystal in her mouth, she will tilt her head back and have the crystal at the back of her mouth chewing and kind of rolling it with her tongue. Muriel is correct though of letting the animal decide. Our former dog Tanzerin was not big on Reiki and would move away anytime I tried giving her Reiki treatment in her old age. Tanzerin was not a rock hound like Schatzi either. She would lick crystals if I held them out for her to sniff but it was only a few licks and then she was done. She would not just take them and want to keep them. When we had Zeus (cat) he more enjoyed knocking crystals off of the dresser then anything else. Although there was one time I had a soapstone carving of Quan Yin laying on my bed (I was trying to get a good picture of her), I came back to the room after uploading pics and Zeus was curled up and sleeping with Quan Yin. Blessings to your weekend all. Guest guest
hehe I reminded me of my girlfriend's second cat I had some crystals soaking in a big tub of water in her sink in order to charge and clean them, the kitty went and found this to be exceptional drinking water, and I could sense the amethyst having a profound effect upon her, i was also meditating with a large hunk of citrine sitting by me and the cat went and essentially sat on it, my meditations proved a way to tame her, because she was often annoying the girl-friend in Question, in particular though not a Christian I was using the name of Christ as a mantra and it suddenly seemed to literally drive out a dysfunctional spirit from kitties personality, I miss the cute little kitty! my Beagle is sort of a canary, if I set an orgone generator out after a few days he'll be super psychic radiating this huge aura, and one time it sort of zapped him tremendously hard, and I was lik " hmm " then the next day while sleeping I had it zap me as well, decided 7 in a row right next to each other under my bed was too strong also I had what seemed to be an amazonite or some sort of dark green large stone and my old dog just did not like it, I'd channel my focus to her through it, but she liked the other ones, this was the first time I realized I could direct energy flow. -Christopher , ReNau <renaumoon wrote: > > ~chuckling~ I can't help but chuckle at this due to our dog Schatzi (still a puppy since she isn't 2 yet). Guest guest
I'm glad to " meet " another dog who likes to have crystals in mouth - my last dog did that, she'd sort of chew on them a wee while. I freaked of course the first time, but soon realised she'd drop them when she'd had what she wanted.
