Hi Scarlet Debi

The issue of lab-grown crystals really is one of personal preferrence, you

just have to go and see how you feel working with them. They can have

purer, finer energy than some of the earth-grown crystals because they have

no impurities in them, they are just the composition of the one crystal and

nothing else. Chemically, they are the same as the natural crystals,

they're just grown in a different environment.

Some crystals you can only really get lab-grown varieties of such as

blue-glass obsidian, tschermigite, siberian blue quartz, ruby lavender

quartz etc. etc. Other times people go for a lab-grown specimen because the

cost of a comparable sized natural piece would be prohibitive. I know

someone who has a pink sapphire ring which she wouldn't have been able to

afford, and appartently she has a really huge lab-grown ruby too.

I do use some lab-grown crystals in my healings and they still work lovely.

The only thing I haven't had to use in a healing is a cultured clear quartz

wand. I have a beautiful ruby lavender quartz wand, and I use that a lot in

my crystal healings. It's great for violet flame work with people too :o)

I'd say have a play and see how you feel about them. It's odd that I don't

mind the lab-grown crystals, as I prefer natural pieces to tumble stones for

myself. I use both in healing as they have different energies and you have

to be guided by what people need.

Love and Light
