Guest guest
Intention is always very important when creating anything for a dedicated purpose such as healing . The healing dolls I am familiar with include rag body dolls that may or may not have herbs or crystals inside them and symbols embroidered or attached to them. Fimo or sculpy and clay dolls decorated or painted with healing intent classic poppets and wax dolls corn dollys etc. the possible variety is infinite. I've been give healing bears with rose quartz in a pouch. I've seem some very lovely poly clay dolls that are created with healing intention though not always promoted for that purpose. Apple head dolls and gourd dolls were also often traditionally made as healing dolls. I recall reading about a shaman who made small dolls with face buttons for healing and magic work. I've encountered carved wooden dolls made in Indonesia and sold as holiday ornaments that had been charged with healing and protective energies and intention these were painted . Now days a lot of these are just made without intention but you can sometimes find those that have been created with intention. I tend to disagree with the need to clear and program the stones as those I might work with normally call out step forward and are fully ready and dedicated for the particular work. Intention and a clear purpose are important. It is also possible to by a doll or object and then dedicate it and charge it with intention, to make a doll or other healing object and dedicate it after you have made it or and this is probably the most recommended though it may be challenging to make the doll or other healing item with constant intention. Others will use a regular doll but had the doll wearing dedicated jewelry or having healing symbols of some sort incorporated in the item Another decision is about the way the doll will be used. If it is an altar doll or as decorative item thane it can be made in way that is not suitable for a doll that will be played with and or cuddled with. Obviously if a child will play with it it must be safe in all ways . Sometimes healing dolls are kept but other times they may be buried or burned so that is also a matter to consider. Guest guest
This is all quite educational... but realistically whatever a person believes in devoutly is what works. If one believes it is possible. cleansing stones and clearing them so that i can use them accordingly is important to me, although at times i have to change procedure because of people, places things... Be well... si`la , skygreen <skygreen wrote: > > Intention is always very important when creating anything for a > dedicated purpose such as healing .
