Guest guest
If you hold obsidian up to the light it becomes somewhat translucent depending on the thickness of the stone.....but they both have high silica content. Guest guest
Hi Maria Jet isn't a stone, it's fossilised wood, so it is much lighter (in weight) and has a different feel to rocks/stones......if it is natural jet you can rub it on sandpaper and it will leave a brown mark. And obsidian is more transparant than onyx.........if you hold obsidian up to the light you should be able to see through it, or at least partially see through it, whereas onyx is just black Jet is a great mineral for healing grief.....I have lots of it around me right now and it feels good love stef , " Dr. Maria Moratto " <drmoratto wrote: > > Hi everyone, > How can one differentiate onyx from jet from obsidian from other > black stones? > Thanks. > > Dr. Maria Moratto > Prescription For Bliss > The Law of Attraction Alternative > rx4bliss > > Cheia Vida: healthy, exotic and delicious. > Why, it had to be Brazilian! > http://aliveworldwide.com/13924 >
