Off topic for some lists but important nonetheless. I am a strong believer

in letting the body's immune system do what it was built to do. That is one of

the reasons I like reading articles at this website.

I have had the flu twice in my life, and it just so happens those were the

two times I was “given” the flu-shot for free at work.

Every other year, I have just had a really bad case of bronchitis.

I won’t go so far as to say the flu-shot GAVE me the flu, but I think it may

have weakened my immune system enough to allow me to catch it.

I refuse to get the shot again after the last time.

Same thing goes for this new shot for cervical cancer. I’m sorry, but if you

can’t guarantee me at least 95% immunity from something by taking an

immunization, I’m not going to inject myself or my kids with it.

Flu shots, pneumonia shots, and that cancer shot … I don’t think so.

Just my 2 cents

Yep.... I havent had a fu shot in years, til last sunday. The next day, I ached,

had a lil fever, and felt like crap. Hopefully will not catch the flu ( havent

had it in a long time ). I thought it would be helpful to my other half who is

older than me. I beleive in letting 'nature' take its course with colds.....
