Guest guest
Hiyas everyone again!! I have a couple of new questions that I'd like to ask!!! I am wondering how many that are on this list have their own crystal healing practice? Should I actually set up a poll for the list or is it even ok to do so? And then also if you have your own practice, how did you get your start? I also would like to know that if you were to make a booklet/brochure for your client, what all would you include in it? Anyhow, I guess that is all for now. Take care, hugs, namaste, MP, Ah'o, Lynn
Guest guest
Lynn, Sounds like to me that you are trying to design something. Well some of us are graphic designers *wink wink*. If you need any suggestions I would be more than happy to talk about it off list if you want to email me. Namaste, Rick

Guest guest
Along a similar vein, I wonder about starting a reiki share group in my area...has anyone had an experience with this? Did you start as a , or post an ad in a newspaper? Did you open your home, or try to find a place in the public arena to hold events? I know a lady who owns a crystal shop, and would love to present a free reiki share type event, but would hesitate to ask to use her storefront without expecting people to pay. Then again, I had another friend who tried to hold crystal identification/healing grid meetings there and had to cancel due to low turn-out so I hate to waste her time..but if you hold it, they will come! Any suggestions? Peace and light....Brenda ______________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Rick, Partly, yes. The booklet/brochure I am wanting to do would list the crystals that I have/use and description of what they are and what they do. But, the question is what all do I include in my description. I am not so worried at this point about the graphic design aspect of it. Anyhow, thanks for the offer. Guest guest
The crystal shop where I went to buy some stones the past two weekends really seems busy every time I'm there. I wonder if they offer some things like this? Craft stores offer classes of interest. Any night of the week you can check out scrapbooking, jewelry making, stamping, etc. So why not a metaphysical oriented shop offering a grid class one night a month, a reiki share another night, etc. In the end, it not only networks people better, but experimenting with crystals as part of the free reiki share might both help people develop even more and result in some sales? I would go to those. Although I just got attuned for reiki 1 in December, I've never had the experience of a traditional body treatment other than my self-treatments. And I've read a little on crystal grids, but don't yet really understand them. That's what's nice about having someone there to hold your hand! There is someone in Ohio who has started a meetup group, but they are too far away for me to participate. And they do everything - reiki, tarot, crystals. I would rather go to a session dedicated to what I'm interested in than where you never know what you're going to get! jayne
Guest guest
when you are doing a booklet like that saying that stones and crystals can be used to help heal make sure you use a disclaimer i use this one when i am doing stone chakra balancing work.. you might find something better or along these lines if somebody else has something better i would appreciate it as well.. as its been hard for me to know what exactly to say .. as for what to say about the stones and crystals you can say as much or as little as you feel you need to say.. perhaps for ones you are just getting started you could do a booklet with just the basic healing principals and with more advanced a more advanced booklet. i would love to see your booklet when its done it sounds very interesting.. candace It is neither wise nor condoned by-------- to replace or withdraw from any traditional therapy without consultation with a qualified physician. I understand that the treatment I am getting is purely metaphysical and that in no way should replace treatment being given to me by a professional doctor, psychiatrist psychologist or legal professional. This is a treatment, suggesting no guarantee the maximum liability is limited to the amount of money received for the service provided for. spiritcrystal_lynn <spiritcrystal_lynn wrote: Rick, Partly, yes. Guest guest
you might check at the shop as most shops do offer classes.. i know the shop i work at does and some of them are free... so just go in and ask if they do.. or perhaps if they don't you could suggest that they do.. and offer to do one for them? a few of the shops also offer a weekly meditation group.. you might find out if they have one of those as well.. candace briarwoodpups <briarwoodpups wrote: The crystal shop where I went to buy some stones the past two weekends really seems busy every time I'm there. Guest guest
If you got an incomplete version of this, sorry! I tried to stop it once I realized that had decided I was ready to send it when I wasn't! Anyway, as I was saying....there's a metaphysical store in Columbus, OH (www.gentlewind.net) that offers lots of different classes. If you aren't near enough Columbus to visit, maybe there's a store like it near you. Here's there January/February schedule: http://www.gentlewind.net/GW_Morse_Classes.htm --Martha briarwoodpups <briarwoodpups The crystal shop where I went to buy some stones the past two weekends really seems busy every time I'm there.
