Guest guest
I have just bought a piece of Kunzite which is about 1 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide, I am wondering if I can break it into 2 pieces, preferably into 2 long narrow ones. Any thoughts on how I would go about this please ? Caroline
Guest guest
Caroline, Probably not... you could have someone cut it for you with a proper saw.. but it won't just break that way. Guest guest
My take is that the divine intelligence of stone will let you know when it is ready to break apart. Why not just look for another piece of kunzite as a companion? Just a thought. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who has responded to my question about breaking a piece of Kunzite into 2 pieces. Ididn't have a specific reason for wanting do this and was generally curious to hear your thoughts. I would however like to make the piece into pendantso would the same principles apply to drilling a hole into it ? Caroline
Guest guest
Caroline, SOme people are going to say not to do it... I think you can make a nice pendant that way... but again you have to be careful and know what you are doing. We carry a lot of pendants that are drilled for a cord... I actually like doing things this way as it keeps the energy " pure " .. it doesn't add the energy of the metals holding the stones. Guest guest
John, Thank you for your reply - with ref to using a cord, is this also better than using a silver chain etc ? Guest guest
Depends on who you ask.. but it makes the " chain " more neutral to use the cord.
