Guest guest
Respected Sir/Madam,Namaskar. In continuance of our email exchanges on the subject we have decided to hold a meeting at Red Cross Bhawan, Bhubaneswar on the 18th September to discuss about the Swine Flu, Tami Flu and, of course, the vaccine which will be released in October. The seminar is the effort of Deccan Development Society, at Hyderabad.Considering the media hype on the Swine Flu (H1N1), the statement of Dr Margaret Chen, Head of WHO that the institution was aware that Swine Flu would occur as an epidemic and the patent of the vaccine was cleared exactly an year before the current pandemic, the abuse of Tami Flu as the cure, and the vaccine being targeted towards small children, pregnant women and the elderly, the unknown ingredients of the vaccine, many of us are skeptical about the whole episode. We have to act fast considering that we have very little time in our hands before the vaccine is ready and the Swine Flu "explodes" as predicted by the WHO. The one day workshop will dwell on how we can consolidate our stand. We have to clearly understand the nature of the disease and also how effective this "mandatory" vaccine is. We have all along been apprehensive about our future in the hands of the drug industry and NOW is the time to act. While your stay at Bhubaneswar and the meeting venue will be ensured by DDS, you have to kindly bear your travel expenses. Let us hope that all of us congregate and decide on a plan of action. Once you confirm your participation we will plan the agenda. The venue is Red Cross Bhawan at Bhubaneswar. The tentative plan is to first recognise what the swine flu is, discuss about the safety and efficacy of Tamiflu & the vaccine, look at alternatives, and then we go forward to the strategy session.Yours faithfully,sd/- Satheesh Periyapatna,Director, DDS Contact persons:Jagannath ChatterjeeMobile: 09337102146Ms JayshriMobile: 09440266012 All it takes is just one vaccine to forever change your life. - Dawn, mother of vaccine damaged child.
