crystal dowsing-help!

Good morning,

Yesterday after the kids fell asleep I sat down to try out the

dowsing. The night before I had done all the reading, so was

confident it would work.

 

I am so dissappointed to say it still didn't work. What could be

going wrong? I cleansed the caged amethyst pendulum on twine and

programmed it to be my pendulum. I used it over a chart and started

asking it simple questions... is my hair green? is there a tv in the

room? Initially the pendulum which I had set swingling on 'ask a

question' stopped in the centre. after 3 times like this it started

swinging but not giving correct answers. I changed my position, I

changed the string, I changed the crystal, I tried it with some keys

on some string, I tried another chart, I tried it with my elbow

resting on my knee and with my arms stretched out. I had now watch or

crystals on, I was relaxed as the children were asleep. Yet I could

not get correct answers or consistant answers from the pendulum.

 

I know lot of people have been giving me advice... I've read all of

it. But I can't think what is preventing me from working a pendulum?

 

Please help.
