Guest guest
I have no particular experience with crystals or how any particular individual, group, culture, religious organization, etc. might use them. I feel nothing in particular when I touch them. In other words, I can not detect any heat or cold coming from them... they do not give me prickly sensations or any other tactile feedback. That being said, I can clear quartz crystals that are fogged by looking at them. The technique I use is to focus on a spot in a crystal and visualize that spot as ice. Then I visualize the ice melting. Slowly, the area I focus on begins to clear. Sometimes it appears that the process can be accelerated if I squeeze the crystal between my thumb and forefinger. Interestingly, either hand will work and while I am right handed, my natural tendency is to use my left hand. However, I do not need to touch a crystal to clear it. Unlike some of the clearing techniques I have read, I do not beam love at a crystal, and in fact, I feel quite neutral about it. To me, this is all quite alien and bizarre. Does anyone have a hypothesis about what might be going on?
Guest guest
Intent is 100% of what makes things happen - like with your cleaning. I think that is awesome. Since you treat them neutral - they are probably being netural back to you not showing any " emotion " . Does that make sense? Guest guest
Hi Rebecca, Thank you for answering my e-mail. I suppose it makes some sense that intent causes things to occur. Although, as the group's crystal dowsing questions seem to indicate, they may not occur as one expects them to. However, if you have had no experience or exposure to something, then you may not have an expectation of it. I am making the presumption here that expectation causes intent. Since I really know nothing about crystals, other than their most obvious visible physical attributes, it is only natural that I would have no expectations of them. I only wanted to make clear in my e-mail that, to my knowledge, I do not have any psychic sensitivity or metaphysical talents. I do have an expectation now which is based on my experience. I expect that if I focus on a quartz crystal that is cloudy, it will eventually clear. However, I have no idea how or why that would cause what appears to be a physical change in a rock. Additionally, I have no idea what it means or if it means anything at all. May you be blessed as well Jim ________________________________ jane doe <divinetrinitywellness Sunday, January 18, 2009 12:52:16 PM Re: [CrystalHW] Crystal Clearing Question Intent is 100% of what makes things happen - like with your cleaning.
