Guest guest
Alluminated with smiles, I am Pleased to hear or better yet to read what ReNau has written for us. Placing the outside in was one of the very first things I set forth on accomplishing for my sacred paths. I wrote a blog on this for one of the groups I am a moderator to. And it seemsed to draw in some interest. Starting with earth. Most people think dirt off the bat. But earth has more to it also. Use your sences and think what do I see from nature, then you will bring it into your home. I am a rock hound so I have stones everywhere. Think about what is significant to your pathway. What things you are drawn to. What things are drawn to you. Look at life thru your soulway and pull in around you what you wish to have flourishing around. This is your sacred home. You body is the temple of creative thought and spirit. Meditate or candle prayer to your higher. It doesnt matter what faith you are .. follow it your way from your own whole heart n mind. To get back on the crystal segment of the group... I use stones for connections of healing... as well as other rituals of devine. I am interested in hearing of how others have used to Tree of Life, the Mandala, the Crystal Grid into their creation. And how do you choose which stones you use for it? Are the quartz only added to the outter edge? And how do you choose which design for your grid to meditation? Faeriespirit
Guest guest
Greetings and Salutations all, First of all ~blush~ and thank you for your kind words FaerieSpirit ~~~I am interested in hearing of how others have used to Tree of Life, the Mandala, the Crystal Grid into their creation. And how do you choose which stones you use for it? Are the quartz only added to the outter edge? And how do you choose which design for your grid to meditation? ~~~~ I do not personally work with the Tree of Life but I do work with the chakras (and not just the " main " 7). I do not work with mandalas at present, although I do have several books (some of them coloring books which would be meditative) and I have a quartz pendant that I do wear from time to time that has the Sri Yantra etched into it. Now as to the grid in our meditation room, that is for healing, calming and just all around energy. I have an affinity with the pentagram both upright (Goddess/female energies) and inverted (God/masculine energies) and of course the elements associated with the other 4 points ... the elements also all have feminine and masculine energies when you think about it. So, the grid on the ceiling is a decagram (10-pointed star), in a circle. At each of the outer points (10 total), is a dangling faceted quartz pentagram. This link will give you an idea of what I am talking about in case you have not seen this lovely form: _http://cgi.ebay.com/Rutilated-Smokey-Quartz-Pentagram-Shape-Quartz-Crystal_W0QQ\ itemZ5668139594QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain _0?hash=item151d8f24a & _trksid=p3286.m20.l1116_ (http://cgi.ebay.com/Rutilated-Smokey-Quartz-Pentagram-Shape-Quartz-Crystal_W0QQ\ itemZ5668139594QQcmdZView ItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item151d8f24a & _trksid=p3286.m20.l1116) For energy flow, they alternate between upright and inverted. The next row in (these are hung at each of the intersecting points of the 2 pentagrams that form the decagram) are alternating smokey quartz (inverted for grounding) and rose quartz (upright for raising loving energies), there are 5 of each. Then the final (3rd) row is again clear quartz hanging in the upright and inverted alternating pattern. The grid itself is made from various gauges of copper wire. The points of each pentagram are done in colored copper wire correlating with the elements and spirit (red-fire, blue-water, green-earth, yellow-air and for spirit .... silver for Goddess and golden for God). Between each of the points there is a hanging votive and I have a moveable one for in the center. The grid is about 11ft in diameter. On the floor beneath the grid is a round pentagram throw rug (4ft diameter. When called to do so, I will place various other crystals on the floor under the grid, sometimes just on the pentagram in various patterns on the pent itself and other times, I will extend the crystals out under the entire grid. I have done this for healing purposes (self, friends and Mother Earth), for protection of family and friends and also just for meditation purposes. I usually will also place candles around the grid on the floor. When I am feeling really industrious, I will light the candles that are part of the grid itself. It give such a fabulous ambience to the room at night when the grid itself is lit. I also burn incense, depending on the work, the incense might be on the floor in the center of the grid. There are still so many details to the grid and it has evolved over time as well. I have uploaded a few photos to give you an idea. Given the size of the grid and only 8ft high ceilings, it is impossible to get a full grid view. If you are interested in viewing the pictures, you can link to them here: _/photos/album/1304869518/p\ ic/list_ (/photos/album/1304869518/p\ ic/list) I have rambled too much for now. Enjoy. Blessings to your week all. ReNau " Codail, suaimhnigh i nge/aga nadragain " " Sleep, rest in the arms of the Dragon "
